Job summary

NiSource is seeking a Talent Sourcing & Engagement Coordinator in Columbus, OH to support recruitment and onboarding in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will collaborate with hiring managers, candidates, and new hires to shape the candidate experience and ensure smooth onboarding.

The role focuses on reporting, administration, and process improvement across Talent Acquisition activities, including job postings, events coordination, and vendor partnerships.

Qualifications

• Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and support multiple programs simultaneously.
• Detail oriented with high-volume workload
• Knowledge of I-9 requirements and US employment authorization

Responsibilities

• Pull reports for weekly orientation/onboarding meetings and ensure data integrity in Workday.
• Support team members, provide feedback on processes, and participate in projects.
• Be the point of contact for onboarding questions to ensure prompt completion and positive candidate experience.
• Manage new hire orientation/onboarding including welcome emails and I-9 calls with new hires and leaders.
• Facilitate orientation/onboarding sessions and provide updates at weekly meetings.
• Support external career websites, job boards, social media recruitment efforts, and vendor partnerships.
• Coordinate recruiting events with Talent attraction for networking and sourcing.
• Arrange travel, transportation, and accommodation for candidates.
• Maintain communication with Talent Acquisition leadership and teams.
• Identify and implement Talent Acquisition process improvements.
• Improve recruiting activities, recordkeeping, and budgeting through technology and processes.
