The Talent Acquisition Manager at Hometown Veterinary Partners is a member of our talent team and reports directly to the Director of People & Culture. The TA Manager will create, develop, and execute a recruitment strategy to support our current and future growth, aligning with our values of culture, community, and collaboration. This role involves attracting, sourcing, and hiring talented veterinarians and veterinary staff, collaborating with hospital leadership to understand staffing needs, and ensuring a seamless hiring process. Applicants should be located within a commutable distance to Bloomington, MN, or the greater Boston, MA area.

Community
- Demonstrate strong leadership and managerial skills to oversee HR functions and team collaboration.
- Travel for recruitment activities such as conferences, college visits, and career fairs.
- Coordinate and present at college recruiting initiatives and increase awareness of HVP.
- Build networks within communities to find qualified and passive candidates.
- Post open positions both internally and externally.
- Proactively develop a network of qualified candidates to support growth.
- Maintain active presence on social media platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, and relevant job boards.
- Research and recommend new sources for candidate sourcing.
Collaboration
- Source potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and professional associations.
- Support hiring processes by reviewing qualifications, interviewing applicants, verifying references, conducting background checks, and scheduling interviews.
- Prepare and send Offer of Employment, and conduct pre-employment screenings.
- Ensure all new hire documentation is complete and coordinate onboarding and training.
- Send weekly KPI and new hire reports to leadership.
- Benchmark pay scales and benefits regionally, providing recommendations to stay competitive.
- Provide insights and solutions to improve recruiting strategies and onboarding processes.
- Verify all state licensures and certifications are current and complete.
- Ensure all paperwork is entered into HRIS systems and stored securely, in compliance with employment regulations.

Education, Experience & Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience, preferably in veterinary or healthcare industries
- Strong understanding of veterinary professions and role requirements
- Experience with ATS and data analytics
