Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire high-quality talent across the organization.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of six direct reports, providing ongoing coaching, direction, and performance feedback.
  • Partner with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders to understand workforce needs, position requirements, hiring priorities, and recruiting timelines.
  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process from job requisition and sourcing through interviewing, selection, offer, and onboarding coordination.
  • Establish recruiting priorities and ensure the Talent Acquisition team remains aligned with daily, weekly, and quarterly hiring objectives.
  • Monitor open positions across recruiting platforms and ensure hiring plan data is accurate, complete, and current.
  • Track team performance and provide regular reporting on recruiting activity, progress, and results.
  • Ensure job postings are accurate, current, and appropriately distributed across relevant recruiting platforms.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and maintain relationships with professional networks and other talent communities to build qualified candidate pipelines.
  • Develop and execute recruiting programs, partnerships, internships, and apprenticeship initiatives with colleges and universities.
  • Monitor and analyze key talent acquisition metrics, including open requisitions, time-to-fill, time-to-hire, recruiting activity, and new-hire turnover.
  • Develop reports and provide recruiting insights to leadership to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, hiring efficiency, and overall Talent Acquisition performance.
  • Review, update, and develop Talent Acquisition policies, procedures, workflows, and best practices.
  • Support improvements to job application, candidate selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging trends, best practices, technologies, and regulatory changes related to recruiting, Human Resources, talent management, and employment law.

Talent Acquisition Manager Location: Dallas, TX Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Onsite expectations dictated by business needs Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually Position Overview Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in Dallas, TX. This leadership position is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies, overseeing full-cycle recruiting operations, and leading a team of six Talent Acquisition professionals. The Talent Acquisition Manager will partner closely with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders to identify workforce needs, attract qualified candidates, improve recruiting processes, and deliver an efficient and positive candidate experience. This role will also oversee recruiting metrics, hiring plan accuracy, external partnerships, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory or management experience, and a proven ability to lead recruiting teams and manage multiple hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment.
