Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist for a growing organization in Dallas, TX. This 6-month contract opportunity will focus on full-cycle recruiting for Sales & Marketing (S&M) and General & Administrative (G&A) positions while also helping develop and scale an early-career and campus recruiting program across North America and Brazil. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of in-house, full-cycle recruiting experience, strong sourcing capabilities, and experience recruiting Sales, Marketing, and/or G&A professionals. This position is well suited for a proactive recruiter who enjoys building programs, developing talent pipelines, and partnering directly with business leaders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, closing, and onboarding coordination.
- Recruit for positions across Sales, Marketing, and General & Administrative functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, understand team needs, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Deliver a professional, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Serve as a talent acquisition partner to business leaders, providing insight into market conditions, compensation trends, candidate availability, and recruiting best practices.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track recruiting metrics and use data to identify opportunities to improve hiring processes and outcomes.
Campus & Early-Career Recruiting
- Help design, launch, and manage a comprehensive campus recruiting strategy across North America and Brazil.
- Develop relationships with university career centers, faculty, professors, and student organizations.
- Coordinate and participate in career fairs, information sessions, campus events, networking opportunities, and interview days.
- Support both virtual and in-person university recruiting initiatives.
- Build internship and new-graduate pipelines supporting Sales, Marketing, G&A, and other business functions.
- Develop scalable processes for identifying, engaging, interviewing, and converting early-career talent.
- Track campus recruiting metrics and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of university partnerships.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve and expand the campus recruiting program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of full-time, in-house, full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring candidates within Sales, Marketing, and/or G&A functions.
- Experience with or demonstrated ability to develop and manage campus, university, internship, or early-career recruiting programs.
- Strong proactive sourcing and passive candidate engagement skills.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools.
- Proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of recruiting processes, candidate pipeline management, and hiring best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple searches, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week onsite in Dallas, TX.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience building or expanding a university or campus recruiting program.
- Experience recruiting across multiple business functions or geographic markets.
- Knowledge of talent markets across North America and Brazil.
- Experience developing internship and new-graduate recruiting pipelines.
- Experience tracking and analyzing recruiting metrics, including sourcing effectiveness, time-to-fill, candidate conversion, and campus recruiting ROI.
