Job summary

NewGround in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to drive the full recruitment lifecycle and support HR initiatives.

You will post roles, coordinate interviews (phone, virtual, onsite), and act as a liaison with outside agencies while maintaining candidate data in Breezy. The role also supports training programs and HR operations for a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 2–3 years in Talent Acquisition or HR role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with applicant tracking systems.
• Experience coordinating interviews and supporting recruiting efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full talent acquisition process: postings, interviews, candidate data in Breezy.
• Coordinate phone, virtual, and onsite interviews with candidates and the hiring team.
• Liaise between outside recruiting agencies and hiring managers for a smooth process.
• Support the SVP of HR on training and development initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to HR data entry to HRIS and personnel files.

The Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist will support recruiting and human resources operations. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment process, cultivating a positive candidate experience, assisting in the execution of future training and development and HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full talent acquisition process by creating job postings, scheduling interviews, candidate communication and maintaining candidate data within the applicant tracking system (Breezy).
• Coordinate phone, virtual, and onsite interviews with candidates and members of the hiring team.
• Act as a primary liaison between outside recruiting agencies and hiring managers to ensure clear communication and a smooth recruitment process
• Support the SVP of HR on training and development implementation and tracking for all employees
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team including data entry to HRIS and personnel files.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as apparent.

Education And/Or Experience Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• 2-3 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition or adjacent HR Role
• Experience working in an applicant tracking systems required.
• Experience supporting recruiting efforts and coordinating interviews
• Knowledge of basic employment practices and HR procedures is preferred.
