Job summary

NewGround International is seeking a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to support recruiting and HR operations. You will manage the full recruitment process, cultivate a positive candidate experience, and assist in the execution of training and HR initiatives.

Based in Clayton, MO, you will coordinate interviews (phone, virtual, onsite) with the hiring team and liaise with external agencies to ensure clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• 2–3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or adjacent HR role.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full talent acquisition process: create job postings, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates.
• Coordinate phone, virtual, and onsite interviews with hiring team.
• Serve as liaison between external recruiters and hiring managers to ensure smooth process.
• Support training and development implementation and tracking for all employees.
• Provide administrative support to HR team, including data entry to HRIS and personnel files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist will support recruiting and human resources operations. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment process, cultivating a positive candidate experience, assisting in the execution of future training and development and HR initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full talent acquisition process by creating job postings, scheduling interviews, candidate communication and maintaining candidate data within the applicant tracking system (Breezy).
• Coordinate phone, virtual, and onsite interviews with candidates and members of the hiring team.
• Act as a primary liaison between outside recruiting agencies and hiring managers to ensure clear communication and a smooth recruitment process
• Support the SVP of HR on training and development implementation and tracking for all employees
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team including data entry to HRIS and personnel files.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as apparent.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• 2-3 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition or adjacent HR Role
• Experience working in an applicant tracking systems required.
• Experience supporting recruiting efforts and coordinating interviews
• Knowledge of basic employment practices and HR procedures is preferred.
