Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. seeks a Talent Acquisition Coordinator I to support recruiting for hourly and salaried non-exempt roles, handling day-to-day coordination within the recruiting team.

Under supervision, you will schedule candidate travel, inform applicants of details, initiate pre-employment steps, and prepare new hires for day one, collaborating with business leaders and external vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6+ months related experience.
• 1-2 years of experience, education, and training.
• Ability to act professionally.

• Experience coordinating events and managing logistics.

Responsibilities

• Self-manage recruiting coordination across high-volume and complex tasks with end-to-end ownership.
• Apply policies and guidelines independently with sound judgment while ensuring compliance.
• Schedule and coordinate travel for candidates.
• Inform job applicants of position details and application status.
• Initiate and facilitate pre-employment processes (background and drug screening).
• Schedule orientation information for candidates and prepare new hires for day one.
• Provide additional recruiting support as needed.
