Job summary

Transwest Truck Trailer and RV is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support the recruiting team through coordinating hiring activities, maintaining candidate records, and communicating with candidates and hiring managers. The role manages administrative steps, screens pre-employments, and helps ensure a positive candidate experience from application through day one.

Key duties include ATS maintenance, weekly status updates, event support, and ensuring confidentiality of records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in administrative support, recruiting coordination, HR, or customer service preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach.
• Ability to learn ATS, HR platforms, and pre-employment screening systems; Paylocity preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain candidate profiles in the applicant tracking system, upload assessments, and update statuses.
• Provide weekly status updates to hiring managers for open requisitions and next steps.
• Review feedback and send timely rejection communications.
• Serve as first point of contact for recruiting calls and escalate inquiries when needed.
• Support job fairs and recruiting events, including materials and follow-up.
• Coordinate pre-employment screenings and monitor results.
• Ensure compliance and confidentiality of candidate information and records.
• Assist with projects to improve recruiting efficiency and candidate experience.
