Job summary

McDermott Will & Schulte is seeking a Talent Acquisition Assistant, Partners & Counsel to provide administrative support across the lateral global partner and U.S. counsel recruiting processes.

You will lead data entry in applicant tracking systems and assist with interview logistics under supervision. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to learn quickly.
• 3 day a week in office requirement.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain candidate records in applicant tracking systems and manage interview logistics.
• Process departmental expense reports and travel reimbursements.
• Support onboarding and integration tasks for new Partner hires.
• Assist with search firm tracking and internal communications to ensure candidate experience.
• Schedule internal meetings, interviews, and events, including booking rooms and coordinating meals.
• Distribute candidate materials to interviewers using approved templates.
• Monitor recruiting inbox and respond to routine inquiries; escalate complex issues.
• Track interviewer feedback and follow up on evaluations.
• Compile recruiting metrics and status updates from ATS and internal tools.
• Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team.
