Job summary

McDermott Will & Schulte, a leading global law firm, seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Partners & Counsel to drive lateral partner recruiting globally. Coordinate candidates with partners, search firms, and leadership to ensure a seamless process and strategic hiring outcomes.

In this role you will manage end-to-end due diligence, interview pipelines, and relationships with agencies and internal stakeholders, with a 3-day-per-week in-office requirement in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years recruiting experience in a legal environment, preferably partner or lateral associate recruiting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of the Firm’s brand, markets, and global strategy for candidate evaluation
• Assist with lateral partner hiring initiatives aligned with firm priorities
• Own and oversee interview and evaluation process
• Manage end-to-end due diligence workflows
• Advance candidates through the hiring pipeline
• Develop relationships with recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders
• Assist with end-stage offer processes
