A leading construction and engineering company seeks a Talent Acquisition Advisor to drive recruitment efforts for craft roles across the U.S. This role requires an individual with at least 3 years of recruiting experience, strong emotional intelligence, and excellent communication skills. The Talent Acquisition Advisor works closely with Human Resources staff and Hiring Managers. This job requires a self-motivated individual that can work independently, an individual who is able to successfully recruit and screen talent and fill a variety of craft roles against aggressive timelines.

HR Operations is an integral partner and service provider at Kiewit. In recent years, we have gone from decentralized HR groups to a unified, shared service team, with various HR Centers of Excellence. Our vision is to be a best-in-class international HR organization.
This position is a remote position.
• Recruit, screen and interview candidates presenting best talent to hiring managers in high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Manage a requisition load of 20-25+ job openings at a time.
• Utilize Success Factors, Yello, Talent Navigator, LinkedIn, social media, job boards, and Boolean searches, and professional / networking groups in order to attract new talent in creative ways.
• Network to recruit active and passive candidates for current positions and build talent pipelines for future career opportunities.
• Extend job opportunities and see candidates through to the project onboarding process
• Continuous improvement and knowledge of current effective staffing and recruiting trends, understand how they align with the company’s business priorities, and develop a business case to push new ideas forward
• Identify workflow process improvements, structure and systems to realign them with operational goals in all craft process
• Participate actively in transfer process that will allow company to keep core craft actively working, engaged, and loyal
3+ years of experience in recruiting
Ability to source/recruit, screen, interview, and hire top talent into our business
Ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team
Human Resources knowledge such as EEO, FLSA, diversity recruiting, interview best practices
Emotional Intelligence – Ability to manage emotions in positive ways to communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflicts
Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated energy, enthusiasm and initiative
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work individually and in a team environment
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
