Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting for multiple roles in the Edgewood, MD area. This contract role offers a hybrid schedule (2 days remote, 3 days on-site) to partner with hiring managers and drive candidate pipelines.

You will source, screen, coordinate interviews, and assist with offers and onboarding, delivering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

TekSystems is currently hiring for a Recruiter in the Edgewood, MD area! This position would be hybrid- 2 days remote, 3 days on site so must be able to go on site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.46/hr.

• The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support full-cycle recruiting efforts, partnering with hiring managers and key stakeholders to identify, attract, assess, and hire top talent.
• This role will manage recruiting activities from sourcing and candidate outreach through screening, interview coordination, offer support, and hiring. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will help build strong candidate pipelines, maintain an efficient hiring process, and deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
• The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing and screening experience, can independently manage multiple openings and priorities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities across multiple open positions, from sourcing and candidate identification through offer and hire.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using a variety of recruiting channels, including professional networks, job boards, referrals, and talent communities.
• Conduct candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, career interests, and overall fit for open positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Provide qualified candidate recommendations and recruiting updates throughout the hiring process.
• Support candidate engagement and employment branding initiatives.
• Maintain accurate recruiting data and documentation within the applicant tracking system.
• Coordinate interviews and serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the process.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience through consistent communication and timely follow-up.
• Support offer preparation and candidate onboarding activities.
• Track recruiting progress and proactively identify potential hiring challenges or delays.
• Share talent market insights and recruiting trends with hiring teams and Talent Acquisition leadership.
• Support additional recruiting and talent acquisition initiatives as business needs evolve.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related technical or professional field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within the SmartRecruiters ATS.
• Previous experience recruiting Field Service Technicians, Field Service Engineers, or similar technical/service professionals.
• Experience supporting high-volume or geographically dispersed recruiting needs.
