Job summary

Fuse Integration seeks a Systems Engineer to support the definition, design, and de-risking of complex tactical communication systems at the San Diego site. You will work on hardware, software, networking, and RF elements in an iterative, hypothesis-driven environment, aligning execution with mission intent.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience in complex system development, experience integrating HW/SW/Networking, and an active U.S. Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
4–6 years in complex system development.
Experience integrating hardware, software, and networking systems.
Ability to adapt in iterative, fast-paced development with evolving architecture.
Experience with HW/SW/Networking/RF domains under shifting constraints.
Active U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Refine mission intent and system scope.
Define system architecture and interfaces.
Run integration tests and de-risk components.
Support verification events and traceability of results.
Document deviations and feed back to refinement.
