Job summary

Fuse Integration in San Diego seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead a team designing and integrating complex electro-mechanical systems for warfighters. You will balance discipline with innovation, delivering high-availability hardware and software in a modular architecture.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical/Aerospace degree with 8-12 years of experience, expert SolidWorks skills (MBE/MBD), and experience with TEMPEST/EMI and CFD. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• 8-12 years of mechanical engineering experience in military applications preferred.
• Expert SolidWorks capability including MBD and eDrawings.
• Experience with SolidWorks Simulation (Structural, Thermal, CFD).
• Familiarity with TEMPEST, EMI MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-HDBK-516.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Mechanical Engineers in design, analysis, and documentation of complex communications devices and integrated systems.
• Implement mechanical systems for electronics packages and dynamics for tactical communications.
• Generate and review mechanical drawings and perform advanced simulations.
