Job summary

Toast is seeking a Principal TA Systems Architect to own and optimize the TA tech stack, including Greenhouse, GoodTime, and BrightHire. You’ll partner with TA Operations, People Systems, and IT to secure, integrate, and scale our recruiting technology.

You will drive multi-quarter roadmaps, evaluate AI-enabled tools, and manage vendor relationships while ensuring data privacy and compliant practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR or TA systems, owning ATS at scale.
• Experience with Greenhouse, GoodTime, or BrightHire.
• Strong API, integration, and vendor-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the stack: act as system owner and top-tier administrator for TA tools (Greenhouse, GoodTime, BrightHire).
• Own the integration layer between TA systems and HRIS, background checks, assessments, sourcing, and offers.
• Run intake-to-resolution on system issues and communicate fixes.
• Enforce change management: testing, documentation, release notes, and user communications.
• Partner with recruiters, sourcers, and TA leadership to map process gaps to system solutions.
• Work with People Systems, People Analytics, IT, Security, and Legal to ensure data privacy and architecture fit.
