Job summary

High Country Line Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced T&D Estimator II to prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects, acting as the lead estimator for bids.

The role requires coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure competitive proposals. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of estimating experience, strong reading of electrical drawings, and excellent analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of estimating experience.
• Ability to develop complex estimates with minor errors.
• Proficient in reading electrical drawings for estimates.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Lead estimate reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan and execute bids to meet submission deadlines.
• Identify qualified suppliers and obtain pricing proposals.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and field walks to determine constructability.
