Job summary

High Country Line Construction in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a T&D Estimator II to lead cost estimates for transmission, distribution, and substation projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

The role requires at least 5 years of estimating experience, strong electrical/drawing comprehension, and the ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver accurate bids.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects.
• Lead estimate reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify qualified suppliers and prepare RFQ/RFP packages.
• Coordinate field walks and pre-bid meetings with clients and teams.
• Ensure bids meet submission deadlines and follow defined processes.
