Job summary

High Country Line Construction, Inc. is seeking a T&D Estimator II to lead cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects. You will analyze drawings, study cost data, and drive competitive bids while supporting other estimators.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities, with on-site or field-location work as needed and a focus on timely bid submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience.
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and construction documents.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects.
• Lead estimating team and manage bidding activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and field walks to determine constructability requirements.
