Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a DIR, PATIENT SVCS SYSTEMS - New Business - Cincinnati, OH to lead system-wide patient food services. You will oversee management, education and performance improvement of patient food services staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and high patient satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field, 5+ years in healthcare with 1+ year in management, and ServSafe®/CDM credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent)
• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience with at least two (2) years in healthcare, including one (1) year in a managerial position
• Certified Dietary Manager required if associate does not have a degree in Nutrition or Dietetics; Registered Dietitian preferred
• ServSafe® Certified
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, Internet)

Responsibilities

• Direct functions of Patient Food Services for the system, including management, education, training and performance improvement
• Coordinate with Systems Director Operations and Director, Nutrition Systems to ensure compliance with patient-related regulatory agencies
• Ensure patient satisfaction and good public relations through efficient use of resources
• Coordinate and implement system’s patient service programs
• Hire, lead, direct, coach, train and develop patient services managers and supervisors
• Monitor competency, productivity and documentation accuracy of patient services teams
• Visit patients and ensure clinician engagement during hospital stays
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients and families
• Support achievement of patient satisfaction goals
• Perform other tasks as assigned
