Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a System Director of Dining Services to lead hospital foodservice operations across multiple sites. The role focuses on patient care, retail, and catering, ensuring cost-effective management and client satisfaction within a multi-unit acute care system.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of hospital foodservice leadership, strong budgeting and communication skills, and familiarity with ServSafe and dietary management certifications.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. with seven years related experience preferred.
• Minimum seven+ years of hospital or adult care foodservice management experience preferred depending on degree.
• Experience in multi-unit acute care hospital foodservice operations is highly desirable.
• Nine+ years direct foodservice management with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food trends, cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory and leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills.
• ServSafe certification and/CDM or RD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client satisfaction and cost-effective management across all sites.
• Oversee foodservice activities including patient care, retail, and catering.
• Maintain systems to meet strategic and operational client objectives.
• Visit patients and ensure leadership presence on every shift.
• Lead a system-wide team of directors and manage the budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
