Job summary

Thoughtworks in the United States is seeking a Consultant Systems Support Engineer to support day-to-day operations of application systems, contribute to incident management, and gain exposure to DevOps practices. You'll help deliver solutions to our clients and grow professionally.

Responsibilities include handling incidents, debugging complex systems, applying CD practices, and ensuring high-quality, well-tested fixes while collaborating in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java or .NET and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and debugging tools.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with DataDog, Prometheus or Grafana.
• Agile methods such Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested fixes.

Responsibilities

• Join incident management processes and tools.
• Debug complex business-impacting issues in application systems.
• Follow standards to improve stability, availability and efficiency.
• Apply continuous delivery practices to evolve and deliver high-quality software.
• Set up alerting, monitoring and KPIs for rapid incident response.
• Leverage logging to identify root causes and improve reliability.
• Apply the latest tech thinking to solve client problems.
