Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Systems Specialist who is passionate about implementing and supporting software systems that enhance operational efficiency, streamline reporting, and provide our center network and customers with a best-in-class experience.

Our Systems Specialist will work closely with our software partners, center owners, and their teams, to ensure the effective use of the software platform used to operate their businesses. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of business operations. This position will be based at our client's office in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and integration of company-wide software systems across all center locations.

  • Work closely with our software partner to become an expert in their product and implementation process.

  • Learn each business’ operations and workflows to develop workflows within the software platform.

  • Ensure data from the business’ current software is imported into the new software accurately.

  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for software adoption, troubleshooting, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with our software partner to provide technical support, and troubleshooting assistance to center owners and their staff.

  • Assist center owners in utilizing data to drive performance improvements, identify trends, and optimize their businesses.

  • Monitor and assess center performance, providing insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.

  • Be the liaison between all stakeholders including our IT team, software vendor, and center owners to ensure smooth software adoption.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience
    • 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems management, or a related role. Experience within a multi-location centers environment is a plus.
    • Experience with point-of-sale systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and operational management tools.
    • Proven ability to manage and implement software solutions across multiple locations.
    • Background in the pet care industry or experience working with small business software solutions is a plus.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting software systems (e.g., POS, operational software, reporting systems).
    • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and their application in business operations.
    • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
    • Experience working with API integrations, data migrations, or technical configurations is a plus.
  • Communication & Collaboration
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including center owners, staff, and corporate management.
    • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Customer-focused approach with a dedication to providing excellent support and service.
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to improving processes.
