Orange County Government is seeking a technically skilled professional to perform programming, systems design, and software engineering tasks, focusing on OS support for the county's computer environment.
You will work under supervision to design, code, test, document, and benchmark; participate in project management and operational support, maintaining high standards of integrity and service.

Performs technical work applying skills in programming, systems design and software engineering. Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs. The effort is focused on supporting project management and providing operating system level support for Orange County's computer environment. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Enterprise IT Supervisor. Performance is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and achievement of desired results.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Software Engineering or closely related field and four years of systems programming experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Security administration, Network protocols (TCP/IP), workstation and servers experience, desktop and laptop computers, Independent Software Vendors (ISV) products.
