Job summary
Intralot, Inc. is seeking a capable technical support professional to maintain and operate its gaming and transaction processing systems.
The role involves working with IBM AIX clusters and Windows/Linux servers, monitoring system processes and communications devices, and ensuring smooth operation of Intralot software applications. The candidate should have an associate degree in CS/IT (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least one year of related experience, with the ability to learn new software
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field, and one year related experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent.
- Ability to acquire proficiency in new software applications.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and Word; operating systems such as AIX, Windows and Linux.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for systems, including the following:
- Operate proprietary Intralot, Inc. software applications.
- Monitor system processes and upscale accordingly.
- Monitor communications devices.
- Cluster of IBM AIX servers for processing transactions.
- Windows servers hosting web applications.
- Linux servers hosting Intralot, Inc. software applications.
- Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.
