Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Systems Operations Lead to act as the operational control point for the production environment, monitoring nightly batch cycles, system health, and incident prevention. This Alt-Shift role runs 4pm–12am, Monday through Friday, requiring clear communication with stakeholders and rapid incident response to safeguard business continuity.

You will analyze alerts with ServiceNow and Splunk, drive root-cause analysis, and maintain documentation, procedures

Qualifications

• 8+ years data processing experience or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with standard desktop tools including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with mainframe scheduling and batch environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain nightly turnover and incident logs per management.
• Monitor batch cycles, system health, and 24x7 production alerts.
• Lead incident management and root-cause analysis engagements.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate with hardware, software, and vendor teams.
• Support disaster recovery and monitoring with Splunk/ServiceNow.
