Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking an Application Production Support Analyst to monitor and support BBH distributed and mainframe platforms. The role involves first level incident management, phone support to global users, and coordination with Business and Application teams to resolve issues promptly.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to Windows, Linux, and mainframe environments, learn scheduling tools, and participate in projects aligned with department objectives.

Qualifications

• Available for the scheduled work week.
• Willing to work occasional overtime and some holidays.
• Basic understanding of mainframe and distributed software tools.
• Capability to perform first level support for Linux and Windows platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook.
• Experience with mainframe and/or distributed scheduling concepts is a plus.
• Experience in ITIL environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform first level support for Windows, Linux, Mainframe.
• Handle Mainframe and Distributed job scheduling responsibilities.
• Manage production activities via mainframe and distributed tools.
• Initiate corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Provide second level phone support for incidents/requests.
• Perform Incident Management with detailed documentation.
• Manage the distributed scheduler infrastructure and application administration.
