Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking an Operations Lead Specialist for Corporate Actions to assist the supervisor and support productivity across the unit. The role involves event setup, processing, verification, payments, reporting and reconciliation, with alt-shift hours Sunday-Thursday 3pm–11pm EST.

Responsibilities include processing corporate action announcements, resolving incomplete data, meeting deadlines, intraday and end-of-day task prioritization, and ensuring accurate postings.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of custody or securities processing or related industry experience.
• Strong research, analysis and problem-resolution abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with a focus on client service.
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks within defined policies and procedures to meet daily output standards.
• Identify and resolve problems; ensure timely completion of duties and interoperability with other units.
• Perform corporate actions processing steps including event setup, instruction processing and verification, and reporting.
• Reconcile and monitor client positions, respond to client inquiries via email/phone, and communicate effectively with clients.
