Job summary

Amentum at NASA Kennedy Space Center seeks a senior leader to supervise a team of system maintenance engineers focused on uptime, performance, and reliability of critical engineering systems under the KPLSS II program.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate schedules, review work, and drive safety and continuous improvement across the team to meet project timelines with partners and agencies.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree; 5+ years related experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; aims for safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel and ability to obtain security clearance; US citizenship for restricted access.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor system maintenance engineers to meet goals and schedules.
• Plan weekly workloads, assign tasks, and manage team calendars.
• Review work for technical accuracy, safety, and quality compliance.
• Conduct regular team meetings to set objectives and address safety.
• Support employee development through coaching and training opportunities.
