Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Facility Maintenance Engineer to support NASA Johnson Space Center programs. You will help establish reliability strategies for facility systems and lead maintenance activities for critical infrastructure.

You will design and implement technical solutions using AutoCAD, coordinate with JSC teams, and drive maintenance plans for cooling towers, liquid nitrogen storage, pumps, and piping in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Hands-on experience maintaining facility machinery (pumps, motors, blowers, valves).
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite; ability to interpret P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Establish and execute reliability strategies for facility systems.
Design, test, and implement technical solutions using AutoCAD.
Coordinate with JSC Pressure Systems for cooling towers, LN2 tanks, and high-pressure systems.
Maintain maintenance plans for cooling towers, LN2 storage, and pumps.
Track system health and coordinate maintenance and tests.
Develop SOWs, specs, and cost estimates for upgrades and chambers.
