Job summary

DH Pace is seeking an Installation Technician to install and service electronic security systems at commercial facilities. You will work on Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Intercom, Emergency Phones, and Parking Revenue Systems, coordinating with customers and contractors on-site to ensure successful installations.

You will drive to sites, assess customer needs, perform repairs, and promote preventive maintenance contracts while maintaining safety and quality standards throughout every job.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience installing electronic security systems for commercial facilities preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills are required.
• Electro/mechanical aptitude is required.
• Understanding of relay logic is preferred.
• Basic networking skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Installation of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, Emergency Phone, and Parking Revenue Systems
• Interact with Customers, Vendors, and other Contractors on-site to properly coordinate successful installations
• Drive to the jobsites per instruction of manager, assess customer's installation or service/repair needs and complete the repair of the product to the customer's satisfaction
• Consistently seek and promote business opportunities for service, sales and preventative maintenance contracts. Acquire knowledge of all products
• Maintain safe working environment and upon completion of day's work ensure job site is clean and clear of debris
• Ensure that all job tickets and time sheets are completed to ensure all tickets are processed in a timely manner and all time sheets reach the payroll department before cutoff
• Complete all job and collects COD's when applicable; call management if a problem occurs with the collection or scope of work changes (COD is very rare for ISS)
• Maintain inventory on truck and have knowledge and understanding of all parts, part numbers and part descriptions
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Job Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of experience installing electronic security systems for commercial facilities preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must possess valid driver's license
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Electro/mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of relay logic
• Basic networking skills
• Successful completion of employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) required in advance of hire

Standard Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. with the understanding and willingness based on field projects that you may need to work overtime as necessary, to include weekends and/or participate in emergency on-call rotations. Please note that start and end times may vary based on business needs, with potential shifts starting as early as 5:00 A.M.
