Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Technician/Installer to install commercial electronic security systems from start to finish, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm systems.

You will interact with customers, vendors, and other service providers to troubleshoot issues, discuss trends, and ensure installations meet client expectations. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience installing electronic security systems for commercial facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and electro/mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of relay logic and basic networking knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and HS diploma/GED.
• Ability to interact with customers, vendors, and contractors on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, Emergency Phone, and Parking Revenue Systems.
• Coordinate with Customers, Vendors, and Contractors on-site for successful installations.
• Drive to jobsites and assess installation or service/repair needs; complete repairs to customer satisfaction.
• Promote business opportunities for service, sales, and maintenance contracts; know product lines.
• Maintain safe work environment and keep the site clean after each day’s work.
• Complete job tickets and timesheets timely and submit to payroll before cutoff.
• Collect CODs when applicable; inform management of changes to scope of work.
• Maintain inventory on truck and knowledge of parts and part numbers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technician/Installer in our Tucson, AZ location to install commercial electronic security systems such as Access Control, CCTV/Video Monitoring, Intrusion Alarm Systems, ID Badge Systems, Intercoms/Emergency Phones, and Parking Control/Turnstiles from start to finish. You will also interact with customers, vendors, and other service providers to troubleshoot potential issues and discuss trends in the field.

Job Responsibilities

• Installation of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, Emergency Phone, and Parking Revenue Systems
• Interact with Customers, Vendors, and other Contractors on-site to properly coordinate successful installations
• Drive to the jobsites as instructed by the manager, assess customers’ installation or service/repair needs, and complete the repair of the product to the customer’s satisfaction
• Consistently seek and promote business opportunities for service, sales, and preventative maintenance contracts; acquire knowledge of all products
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure the job site is clean and clear of debris after each day’s work
• Complete all job tickets and time sheets in a timely manner, ensuring they reach the payroll department before cutoff
• Collect CODs when applicable; call management if a problem occurs with the collection or scope of work changes
• Maintain inventory on truck and keep knowledge of all parts, part numbers and descriptions
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Standard work hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations may be required. Shifts may start as early as 5:00 A.M. depending on business needs.

Job Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of experience installing electronic security systems for commercial facilities (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Electro/mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of relay logic
• Basic networking skills
