Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 in Roy, UT. The role leads a team of about 10 FTE performing systems engineering for support equipment and training devices, with Work Package Lead responsibilities.

The position requires a STEM degree with 8+ years (or a Master's with 6+) and an active Secret clearance; DoD Top Secret eligibility and SAP access are noted possibilities. A 9/80 schedule, relocation assistance, and a full benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years of related technical experience or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• 2+ years of Systems Engineering Lifecycle experience across requirements, architecture, verification, and interfaces.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval as required.

Responsibilities

• Own technical and programmatic leadership for a team of ~10 FTE in systems engineering.
• Serve as a Work Package Lead with cost, schedule, and earned value responsibilities.
• Review OPSCON documentation to meet support equipment needs.
• Develop and mature interface products (IER, Display Interfaces, ICD).
• Own all aspects of employee performance management and career development.
• Role located in Roy, UT with up to 10% travel.
