Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Department Manager to lead a team of engineers across Launch Systems, Facility Infrastructure, and ICBM Sustainment.

The role requires a US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain Special Program Access; relocation assistance may be provided. Locations include Roy, UT; Huntsville, AL; Manhattan Beach, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 8 years related experience or Master’s Degree with 6 years related experience.
• Active Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
• US Citizenship with a current government Secret clearance and recent investigation
• Experience in requirements development/management using DOORS or similar tool

Responsibilities

• Provide ownership for people, processes, and tools across engineering disciplines.
• Lead recruiting, staffing, and retention to meet program objectives.
• Support proposal work, independent technical reviews, audits and standups as needed.
• Drive improvements in employee engagement, development, training, and retention of top talent.
• Mentor and develop section managers and engineers.
