Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT seeks a Systems Engineering Manager 2 to join a cross-functional team of engineers. The role focuses on decomposing requirements, leading design reviews, and coordinating across IPTs to meet maturity milestones and hardware deliveries.

The position combines senior individual-contributor responsibilities (80%) with functional leadership (20%). A US citizen with active Secret clearance is required, with exposure to aerospace/defense programs and EVM/CAM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years.
• US Citizenship with active Secret clearance at time of application.
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period.
• Experience in aerospace/defense sector.
• Experience with EVM/CAM and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to decompose requirements and perform trade studies.
• Ensure team has required training, tools, and access for design engineering.
• Develop and review engineering packages for lifecycle management releases.
