Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 to lead a team of about 10 engineers in Roy, UT. You’ll drive requirements, architecture, verification planning and interface definition for support equipment, while managing performance, mentorship and career growth.

The role offers a 9/80 schedule, relocation assistance, and full benefits. A Secret clearance is required, with potential to pursue Top Secret and SAP approvals as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of related technical experience or Master’s with 6+ years of related experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance, ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~10 FTE in systems engineering for support equipment or training devices.
• Own cost, schedule, and earned value responsibilities as Work Package Lead.
• Develop interface products and verification matrices for weapon system components.
