Ladders is seeking a Systems Engineer Senior Principal - Infrastructure and Data Platforms for a Remote role in the US. The position shapes infrastructure and data platform strategy across a complex retail environment and leads alignment across teams.

You will drive build-versus-buy decisions, develop proofs of concept, and promote portfolio adoption while mentoring teams and removing roadblocks. Remote US-based candidates only, with strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of relevant work experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle.
• Strong programming skills or expertise in multiple infrastructure domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in technology strategy development.

For our client, we are seeking a Systems Engineer Senior Principal - Infrastructure and Data Platforms (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This senior technology role will shape infrastructure and data platform strategy across a complex retail environment. The individual will lead technical alignment, evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities, and drive adoption of new platform capabilities that support enterprise-scale operations. This position also partners closely with technology leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to remove roadblocks, resolve critical issues, and strengthen execution across the portfolio.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $170,000 – $280,000 annually

Responsibilities
