Ladders is seeking a Solutions Architect for a remote role serving the Finance & Insurance space. You will design scalable, secure architectures, drive integration with internal systems and third-party services, and ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.

You will collaborate with Product Owners to align strategy with technical needs, evaluate technologies, and set architectural standards while focusing on security and resilience. US-based remote candidates only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8-10 years in architecture/IT/business ops roles.
• Strong API and integration skills; Azure experience preferred.

For our client, we are seeking a Solutions Architect - REMOTE to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape scalable, secure, and cost-effective solution designs that support complex business and technology needs across the organization. You will work closely with product leadership and key stakeholders to translate strategy into technical architecture, with a strong focus on integration, performance, and operational resilience. The position also requires thoughtful evaluation of technologies, standards, and cloud solutions to help drive innovation and ensure alignment across teams.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,100 - $176,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Create detailed solution designs covering software, hardware, infrastructure, data, and security
• Understand the internal technology stack to design scalable and cost-effective solutions

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in programming/scripting, preferably with Microsoft Stack
• Strong knowledge of API technologies and integration solutions
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• 2+ years with cloud/hybrid-cloud solutions, including 1 year with PaaS and 6 months with Microsoft Azure
