Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Systems Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to support the GuSSC program at Hill AFB, UT or Layton, UT. You will provide NH&S sustaining and design engineering for Minuteman III guidance, flight controls, and battery systems, with leadership in testing and design improvements.

Responsibilities include radiation testing, risk analysis, and mentoring engineers in hostile environments, while collaborating in program reviews and technical forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
• Level 2 requires 2+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Level 3 requires 5+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide NH&S sustaining and design engineering support for Minuteman III NS50 guidance, flight controls and battery systems.
• Plan, lead, and execute SEE, TID, and DDD radiation tests.
• Review schematics and BOMs to recommend risk mitigation and design improvements.
• Present test results and analytics to leadership and program teams.
• Mentor engineers and participate in reviews and technical forums.
