Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking a hands-on Electrical/Battery Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Lead) to support the MGS battery for the GuSSC program in Hill AFB, UT or Layton, UT. You will work with government counterparts to assess battery health, manage requirements and interfaces, and support hardware integration, verification and validation activities.

  • Bachelor degree in an engineering field or closely related discipline.
  • Level 2 requires 2+ years of related work experience; Level 3 requires 5+ years; Level 4 requires 9+ years.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contractor technical support for the MGS battery.
  • Assess and report on health and readiness of the MGS battery with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver assessment products and reports.
  • Support requirements changes and document impacts to hardware/schedules.
  • Support interface control documentation and subsystem interfaces.
  • Contribute to design reviews and hardware integration activities.
  • Support test plans, events, and test reports with trend analysis.
  • Assist in flight tests and anomaly investigations.
