Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking an Electrical/Battery Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Lead) to support the MGS battery for the GuSSC program at Hill AFB or Layton, UT. The role collaborates with government counterparts to assess battery health, manage interfaces, and support hardware integration, verification, and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related fields (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical) or equivalent.
• Level-specific experience: 2+ years for Level 2, 5+ years for Level 3, 9+ years for Level 4 with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Preferred: experience with hardware integration, test plans, and government programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contractor technical support for the MGS battery.
• Assess health and readiness of the MGS battery with government stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver scheduled assessment products and reports.
• Support requirements changes and communicate impacts to hardware/schedules.
• Support design activities and hardware reviews for the MGS battery and related electronics.
• Assist in integration, verification and validation activities with government counterparts.
• Contribute to test plans, witness test events, and produce test reports and trend analyses.
• Support flight test operations and post-flight reviews as needed.
