Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Electrical/Battery Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Lead) to support the MGS battery for the GuSSC program at Hill AFB or Layton, UT. You will assess battery health, manage requirements, and support hardware integration, verification and validation with government counterparts.

As a hands-on engineer, you will participate in test events, reviews, and working groups to ensure safe, reliable battery systems and documentation delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or equivalent
• Level 2 requires 2+ years of related work experience with a degree or equivalent
• Level 3 requires 5+ years of related work experience with a degree or equivalent
• Level 4 requires 9+ years of related work experience with a degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contractor technical support for the MGS battery
• Assess and report on health and readiness of the MGS battery with government stakeholders
• Prepare and deliver scheduled assessment products and reports
• Support requirement changes and communicate impacts to hardware and schedules
• Support maintaining internal and external subsystem interfaces
• Assist design activities and hardware design reviews for the MGS battery and related electronics
• Support integration, validation, and verification activities with government counterparts
• Assist in test plans development, witness/test events, trend analysis and test reports
• Support Operation Test Flights and post-flight reviews as required
• Conduct trade studies, reliability assessments, aging surveillance and life-cycle test planning
• Support program reviews and technical forums
• Prepare and brief technical materials for government reviews and working groups
