Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Staff Systems - Nuclear Harness & Survivability (NH&S) Engineer (T05) for Roy, Utah. Lead software-focused systems engineering through the Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction phase, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and technical objectives.

Responsibilities include requirements decomposition for software subsystems, NH&S environment assessment, and cross-disciplinary coordination to resolve complex issues. Active Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain TS/SAP approval within a reasonable period.
• Experience translating nuclear effects environments into system and software requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead software-focused systems engineering during TMRR phase.
• Define and allocate software requirements for software-intensive subsystems.
• Assess NH&S environments and flow requirements into designs.
