Job summary

Digitailor is seeking a Systems Engineer to drive deployments, upgrades and migrations while delivering strong Tier 2 support. The role emphasizes quality, validation, and clean handoff, with close collaboration to escalate issues and improve standards.

The engineer will produce thorough documentation and maintain strong customer-facing communication. Responsibilities include staging/build testing, remote support from our office, and occasional onsite visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT support/implementation experience.
• Strong networking fundamentals including VLANs, DHCP, DNS.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and basic troubleshooting.
• Excellent documentation and professional customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver deployments, refreshes, upgrades, and migrations with emphasis on quality and handoff.
• Provide Tier 2 support and escalate issues when needed.
• Perform staging/build/testing of equipment in office/lab environment.
• Communicate scope, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain thorough as-built documentation for long-term maintainability.
