Job summary

Net at Work is hiring a Systems Engineer to implement networking technologies for clients and support networks. The SE will configure equipment and software, document solutions, and contribute to both project work and routine support.

The role emphasizes reducing time to resolution, increasing revenue as a project resource, and functioning as an escalated resource for service tickets and desk escalations.

Qualifications

• Experience at MSP/service desk supporting small to mid-size clients.
• 5+ years project engineering experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work after-hours.
• Experience with Apple, Mac OS, Google (G-Suite), Windows and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and/or perform remote fixes at desktop, server and networking level.
• Second level escalations on service desk; resolve level 2 issues in Mac OS and Windows environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware; implement fixes and document solutions.
• Maintain operational documentation and procedures; update client documentation after changes.
• Ensure 32hrs of billable time; time entry in ticketing system.
