Job summary

Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars and Sensors Center is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer II to join the Apollo deployed software and systems team supporting the AN/TPY-2 radar program. This position is onsite in Woburn, MA, with occasional travel to support installations, testing, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with systems software integration, testing, and/or troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, integration, and configuration of radar builds, software updates, and patches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system issues in Linux environments with cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and procedures to validate new software builds against requirements and performance goals.
• Analyze system performance data and recommend enhancements to the software baseline.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight during integration and testing activities.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering groups to drive development and deployment of radar system capabilities.
• Support on-site deployments, installations, and field troubleshooting to maintain high operational availability.
• Contribute to improvements in integration and testing processes, tools, and best practices.
• Prepare and present technical documentation including test reports and analysis results.
• Travel up to 25% to support mission execution.
