Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer I to join the Surface Radars and Radars team in Marlborough, MA. This onsite role covers the full lifecycle from concept development to deployment, with collaboration across disciplines to troubleshoot and optimize radar systems.

The position requires a Master’s degree in STEM and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance. Travel up to 20% to RTX facilities and customer sites may be needed to support tests and mission execution.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop radar system concepts of operations.
• Lead radar processing algorithm development.
• Develop radar software requirements.
• Analyze radar performance data statistically.
• Create analysis tools to support problem resolution.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers and present findings.
