Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Systems Engineer for the SE&TC radar systems integration team. You will help define requirements, operations concepts, and algorithms, delivering integrated, mission-ready radar solutions in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities include developing ops concepts, radar processing algorithms, and system requirements, with use of MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience with systems hardware, systems/software requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and/or other programming languages.

Responsibilities

Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
Develop radar processing algorithms.
Develop radar systems/software requirements.
Be responsible for statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
Be responsible for analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution.
Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions.
Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
This role can be based out of either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA.
May require up to 20% travel to RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations to support test events and mission execution.
