RTX is hiring a Systems Engineer II in Tucson, AZ for on-site work with DoD security clearance requirements. The role focuses on developing, simulating, and validating control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems.

You will work across mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams to ensure robust system performance. The candidate should have an engineering or science degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience and strong skills in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and OO design.

Formación

• Requires a degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in engineering roles.
• Experience with GNC, sensor data, state estimation, or control algorithms is preferred.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and OO design.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Build dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior and reduce test cycles.
• Analyze test data to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test teams to integrate complex systems.
• Apply model-based design and test data to improve performance.
