Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Processing, Guidance, & Controls in Tucson, AZ. You will develop and evaluate control/navigation algorithms for autonomous systems, build dynamic models, and validate complex subsystems with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering.
• Experience with GNC, navigation sensors, state estimation, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Build and use dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior and reduce test cycles.
• Analyze test data to evaluate performance and drive engineering improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test teams.
• Apply model-based design, simulation, and test data to improve system performance.
