Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a candidate in the United States (McKinney, TX onsite) to develop model-based solutions and operate mission simulations for complex threat environments. The role requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, plus an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities include building and integrating simulations, communicating results, and collaborating with customers and team members to inform programmatic decisions in a defense context.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and minimum 2 years of experience.
• Experience with scripting languages including Python, MATLAB, Bash or similar.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the development and implementation of model-based solutions to support mission trade studies using mission and engagement level simulations.
• Develop and integrate variable-fidelity computer models and simulations capturing system and system of systems effects in complex threat environments.
• Modeling of system and mission kill chains using Government, Commercial, and Raytheon tools.
• Execute mission system simulations and analyze results.
• Develop metrics and results products that communicate events leading to actions.
• Participate in technical reviews with internal and external customers.
• Collaborate in a team to develop analytic approaches and inform programmatic decisions.
